Discussions about selling BT

Filed under: jobs — newsfrettir @ 3:06 pm

Árdegi sold Skifan to Sena friday in attempt to straighten out the practice.
Staff meeting was held today with the employees of BT stores. No information have been gathered so far what was discussed in the meeting. In an announcement from Sverrir Berg Steinarsson, president of Árdagis, says that there were revisions of the situations in the meeting but discussions are ongoing about the sale of BT stores.

In an announcement from Sverrir says that they had revisions of the situation and hopefully they can report the solutions after the weekend. In continuance of the moratorium of Merlin last weekend it was clear that Árdegi would suffer great loss. The current situation of the company and its daughter companies have been very uncertain and everything will be done to save it´s valuables and insure the places of the employees.

Currently they are still working towards a solution to insure the continued practice of the BT Stores and other stores owned by Árdagur. BT stores will be closed this weekend until a conclution about the sales are found.
