All BT-stores (computer and electronics superstores) nationwide will be closed this weekend while there will be revisions of the operations of the company. Magnús Orri Haraldsson, manager of financial and operations of Árdagur which runs BT, says there is not a permanent change of opening hours and if things will stay the same the stores will be re-opened on Monday.
Þorsteinn Ingi Vigfússon, manager, says that there will be a staff meeting at 2pm. He did not have a comment about the subjects of the meeting until it is over.
Árdegi sold Skífan that manages music stores yesterday. The Danish Merlin chain store, which was owned by Árdagur, got moratorium last weekend and following that the stores of the company were sold.
